There will be two announcements on the day. The first is the public launch of this website, which details MOVE’s reference on the law, the evidence and the case for regulating vape rather than banning it.
The second is the publication of a study titled Malaysia’s Vape Ban: At the crossroads of public health and the black market. MOVE commissioned the study to examine what would follow if vape were banned in Malaysia, across public health, product regulation and the illicit market. It is a report of findings, drawing on interviews and first-hand accounts. We will name the researcher when the report is published, and a summary of its findings will join the research pages when it is launched.
